Damini Foundation, established in 2024, is a mental health organization dedicated to promoting emotional well-being, psychological resilience, and holistic community development. Guided by the belief that mental health is a fundamental aspect of human well-being, the Foundation strives to build an inclusive and compassionate society where every individual has access to the support and understanding they deserve. We work with children, adolescents, and adults through evidence-based awareness programs, counseling sessions, and community outreach initiatives. Our interventions address key issues such as anxiety, depression, body shaming, cyberbullying, substance abuse, societal pressure, etc., while also emphasizing preventive mental health education and the development of healthy coping strategies.
The Foundation collaborates with schools, colleges, and community institutions across Upper Assam to create safe and supportive spaces for dialogue, healing, and personal growth. With a dedicated team of professionals and volunteers, Damini Foundation remains committed to ensuring that mental health awareness and services reach even the most underserved communities.
Since its inception, the Foundation has successfully conducted multiple awareness programs and counseling sessions in educational institutions and community settings, positively impacting numerous lives across the region. Our long-term vision is to foster a society where mental health is prioritized, stigma-free, and accessible to all.
